This meal plan will give you a week of delicious and affordable breakfasts, snacks, lunches and dinners to feed a family of 4. If your family is larger than that, you can double the recipe and ingredients to suit your families size. I created a meal plan and a corresponding grocery list to cover you for the week ahead. You can take advantage of Walmart+ and shop online, choosing to have your groceries delivered right to your door just like me to make your week even easier! With this meal plan, you will feel totally prepared for all your meal times: no more wondering what’s for dinner! I have a grocery budget of $150-$175 a week (does not include things we always have on-hand like flour and oil) and these menus stick to that amount. On Friday nights we do a pizza movie night alternating who picks the movie and its been our longest running tradition we all love. So I have included eating out or getting take out on Friday’s dinner. You could also eat leftovers if eating out isn’t your thing!
Wondering if you can substitute ingredients? Of course! Don’t like Brussel sprouts? Switch them out for broccoli or any other veggie and adjust as needed. To help make the most of the ingredients you purchase and to help reduce food waste (saving you money), you will see some snacks/meals repeated. With these delicious recipes, you can repeat the plan as often as you wish!
