Are you wondering how you can incorporate a little color into your room without painting the walls? Do you ever look at color palettes on Pinterest and long to have those colors in your own home? We‘re bringing different color palettes to life in a new blog series! We are showing you how to create a beautiful room using our favorite color inspiration along with some fun pieces to help you add these colors into your own home.
The Color Inspiration: Green + Neutrals
For this palette, I choose a creamy white fabric on the sofa that wasn’t too crisp of a white.
I will bring in that oatmeal color to add in a little more warmth to the room. If you are feeling a bit more bold, you can use a rug with a pop of green.
I want to bring in more of those white hues so I choose a crisp white for the drapes.
I am adding more oatmeal hues with the side tables and coffee table.
I like to have extra seating so I placed a cozy chair in more of that creamy white. You could use a green chair for a pop of color or a leather option to add some more warmth. This is the base of our design. These items are what I like to call key investments pieces. They are the pieces that you will touch everyday for years to come. I like to make sure these are good quality and mostly neutral items (my neutrals colors are white, grey, navy blue, black and beige). Now that we have a strong base let’s start adding in the accent colors! First we will layer in green pillows!
Timeless (and affordable) white lamps.
Interesting art pieces.
Accent pieces.
Table accessories and finally plants! I believe every room needs plants, fresh flowers and/or greenery to add life to the space!
