SMALL SPACES, BIG STYLE
Today I want to share with you three small rooms with big style. I have designed a bedroom, living room and dining room mixing some high end and low budget pieces. I am highlighting my favorite pieces from Pottery Barns small spaces collection. All the small space pieces have that high end look without the high price. I love that they are smaller scale and can fit in those tiny city apartments or long and narrow rooms (Like my family room!).

First of all, can we talk about those lights?! I love its simple design and the way they adjust vertically to get the lighting where you need it most. These lamps plug in so they are perfect for any room in your house and because its minimal design, it’s ideal for smaller rooms and tiny nooks. Can you imagine a small reading nook with dreamy white shiplap walls, a cozy navy pinstripe cushion and these lights? I bet you are now!
No closet? No problem! If you've read my blog over the last year, you probably read my post about removing the closet in my daughters bedroom. It was way too large for her tiny room so I had my own demo day and ripped it out. I replaced it with a PBK dresser, but this open air style wardrobe would be a great solution as well. This piece would be perfect for those tiny studio apartments or to handle the overflow from your closet.

-The Living Room-
This sectional is my new favorite piece because it has that classic style that everyone wants, without the big price tag. I love that the chaise lifts to reveal a spacious compartment for storing blankets, games and anything else you want to keep tucked away. Its a great place to stash messy toys when you have unexpected visitors. Please tell me you also have toys thrown all over your house, no matter how often you clean them up too. The joys of motherhood...
I love a cozy spot to curl up and read and this chair won't disappoint. These petite chairs rolled arms and cozy curved backs have a feminine quality to them. They come in three beautiful colors and their small scale makes them perfect in bedrooms as well.

-The Dining Room-
This dining room has big style for a small space. A great tip for small spaces is to take advantage of your walls. Here I have used shelving to add additional storage to the dining room. I warmed up all the black accents by using a beautiful reclaimed wood table with a rustic finish. The angled legs and stretcher bar adds interest to the room.
This upholstered chair, with its back slightly angled back is a great addition to any dining room. Do you need a home office but lack the space? You can create a home office along a wall in any room using a ladder desk. These desks expand storage vertically and you can pull one of these chairs over as your seat. Talk about versatility!
