Ask Abigail Amira: Our Favorite Greens
Today, I thought I would round up some of my favorite deep greens to share with you! I like to use these colors to create bold designs in a timeless, yet forward way. Greens are in the earth tones group so they will feel right at home with neutrals, blacks, blues and even pink!
First up is my new favorite green, Sherwin Williams Secret Garden. This color pairs beautifully with blacks, greys, whites, and terracotta. It feels bright, fresh, and classic. Beware, this color can take on a more avocado hue in bright, direct sunlight. See this DIY project HERE!
Next, is this understated olive hue, Royal Orchard by Behr. This color goes well with light and dark wood finishes and black accents. I love to see this color on bathroom vanities with black hardware.
Another pretty color by Sherwin Williams is Vogue Green. It has a very masculine, tailored suit kind of feel about it. I love seeing it paired with a crisp white and black accents.
Then we have the beautiful Dunn Edwards Black Spruce. This cool neutral color pops with whites and brass accents.
When I think about the perfect classic green paint, this is usually the color that pops in my mind first. This is Benjamin Moore's Backwoods and it does not disappoint. I like that it doesn't go to "olive" and it has a warm neutral undertone making it a great color almost anywhere.
Last we have Benjamin Moore's Caldwell Green. This color feels like a perfect mix between sage and olive. It pairs well black accents and sandy-hues.
