How To Use A Color Palette In Your Home: Coral + Yellow

ARE YOU WONDERING HOW YOU CAN INCORPORATE A LITTLE COLOR INTO YOUR ROOM WITHOUT PAINTING THE WALLS? DO YOU EVER LOOK AT COLOR PALETTES ON PINTEREST AND LONG TO HAVE THOSE COLORS IN YOUR OWN HOME? WE‘RE BRINGING DIFFERENT COLOR PALETTES TO LIFE IN A NEW BLOG SERIES! WE ARE SHOWING YOU HOW TO CREATE A BEAUTIFUL ROOM USING OUR FAVORITE COLOR INSPIRATION ALONG WITH SOME FUN PIECES TO HELP YOU ADD THESE COLORS INTO YOUR OWN HOME.

THE COLOR INSPIRATION: CORAL + YELLOW

For this palette, I choose the neutral color for the sofa.

Normally, I keep the rugs pretty neutral but I saw this coral option and fell in love with it! This rug will make a bold statement.

I hung white drapes to give your eyes a rest from all the bold color we are bringing in..

I brought in wood coffee table and side table in a medium tone for warmth and to keep the room from feeling too precious.

I like to have extra seating so I placed a couple reclining chairs in a yellow fabric. You could use a neutral chair to tone down the color.

I wanted to break up all the horizontal lines, so I added this hanging rattan chair. This is the base of our design. These items are what I like to call key investments pieces. They are the pieces that you will touch everyday for years to come. I like to make sure these are good quality and mostly neutral items (my neutrals colors are white, grey, navy blue, black and beige).

I hung two identical pictures on the wall as a blender. The art has corals, yellows and greens in it so it makes everything feel intentional.

I keep the pillows muted so the rug and yellow chairs could stand out even more.

I added some table accessories and finally plants! I believe every room needs plants, fresh flowers and/or greenery to add life to the space!
