Welcoming Wreath Workshop
Last year, the shop was filled with the scent of fresh pine when we created beautiful welcoming wreaths using dark Privet berries and locally sourced pine branches. We had such a fun night!
Look at all those different textures from the mixed evergreens!
We used wire wreath forms, .22 gauge wire, locally sourced mixed evergreens and lovely privet berries.
I love the contrast of the evergreen needles against the woody stems.
Pinecones added even more texture and a woodsy vibe.
I love Privet berries! In the fall they are smooth, dark berries that add lovely color and texture to your floral arrangements. They are perfect for creating a romantic, wintry atmosphere.
Attaching pinecones can easily be done with wire. Cut a small length of wire and wrap it around the pinecone, between its scales. Then twist the wire like a bread tie and use the tail pieces to wrap around your wire frame.
There is nothing better than getting your hands a little dirty and creating something beautiful.
With our hands-on workshops, our goal is to give you the confidence to use these techniques in your own home too!
